Verónica Castro started her DJ career in the summer of  2012 in Marbella under the name of VEROX.

Her music style is defined as Downtempo Deep House with lot of ethnical sounds. Through her track selection and mixes she is able to transmit positive energy and happiness to a non indifferent crowd. She started to develop her musical taste in the early 90’s in Switzerland, the country where she was born and where she experienced the mythical beginning era of House music in Romandy and its different forms such as Italo House, Progressive House, Vocal House, Piano House and Early Garage.

In 1998 she discovered biza and its balearic House music.

Since then she has been visiting the Island regularly and h a s a b s o r b e d i t s c o n s t a n t e v o l u t i v e s o u n d .
She also attended many years the Winter Music Conference in Miami which helped her to increase her knowledge to the electronic scene always following the trendiest artists.

In 2012 she decided to learn how to spin at the profesional school Musiluz in Málaga. Since then she’s been playing in trendy places in Marbella and Ibiza, and for exclusive private parties but also for corporate events mainly for luxury brands adapting her music more towards a lounge, ambient, chillhouse with a clear touch of Ibiza style.
Since 2017 she has got a residency at Purobeach Marbella and since 2018 at Playa Padre and Momento. She’s also learning about production again at Musiluz school and she’s currently working on her first self produced track.

Currently she is a fan of Satori, Be Svendsen, Bedouin, Rampue, Hraach and many more.
